I am so excited to be returning to Coronado Hills' team this year for my 9th year teaching! I grew up in northern New York where I developed a love for playing in the outdoors (skiing, mountain biking, climbing, camping). I graduated from Hobart and William Smith with a bachelors degree in International Relations. During undergrad, I studied abroad in Kenya and gained an appreciation for diverse cultures and travel and later lived and worked at a safari lodge in Namibia! I also volunteered for the United Nations English Opens Doors Program where I taught English in Iqique, Chili. It was during my time in South America I discovered my true passion for teaching. Since then, I recieved my teaching licensure through the University of Colorado and went on to complete a masters degree in Contemplative Education from Naropa University. I am currently in school at Regis University finishing my Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education (CLDE) endorsement. I am a lifelong learner and hope to pass along my love for teaching and learning to my students!
