Hi! My name is Alanna Lopez, and I am a first grade teacher at Coronado Hills Elementary. This is my sixth year teaching first grade at Coronado, and I love it! Before that, I taught a combined third and fourth grade class, worked as a substitute teacher, and taught third grade in Arizona. I graduated from Bethel University in Minnesota with a B.A. in Elementary Education.
I grew up on a small cattle ranch in South Dakota, and after that I lived in Minnesota, Illinois, and Arizona. I really enjoyed living in such interesting places, but after eight years in Colorado, I plan to stay here in this beautiful state. I am married and have two boys at home. My oldest son is in fourth grade and my youngest is in second grade. In my free time, I love to read books, bake cookies, visit new places, and spend time with my family.
