Welcome to another amazing year in third grade. This is my seventh year teaching and my fourth year at Coronado Hills Elementary. I absolutely love being a part of the Coronado Hills Community. I was born and raised in Florida where I attended the University of Central Florida. I received a degree in Special Education, with endorsements in reading and English Language Development. I have my Colorado teaching license for Elementary and Special Education. In my free time, I love running, swimming, reading, baking and spending time with friends. When I'm not out on new adventures, I am home with my lazy cat Oscar. I believe that in order to promote learning, students must have a trusting relationship with their teacher. As an educator, my goal is to ensure that every student in my class feels safe and valued. With that, the learning will begin, and a child will grow. I also strongly believe that learning begins at home. There is a lot of value on spending quality time with your child, and promoting learning at home. I encourage families to spend time together doing fun things, as well as learning.
