Hello Friends! My name is Molly Pavelick and this is my 3rd year at Coronado Hills Elementary. I love being apart of this extremely caring and loving community of students and faculty!! I am a Social Emotional Learning Specialist, which means your student will participate in Cougar Classes with myself and Ms. Erin. In this class your student will learn and grow, creating an understanding of emotions and how they impact our behaviors through the world of Social Emotional Learning.
A little bit about me. I was born and raised in Iowa and moved out to Colorado in 2008. In Iowa, I received my Bachelors in Elementary Education and then obtained my Masters in Social Work from the University of Denver. My original goal was to return to the classroom; however life took a different turn. For 8 years after graduation I worked as a therapist in the Juvenile Criminal Justice field. As much as I loved it, I missed working with students and decided to return to the world of education.
Everyone that knows me knows I love to hug!!! Luckily, I have been welcomed with open arms and hugs by the students of Coronado Hills. I also have a love and passion for pizza, music, sloths, and coloring. I can't wait to continue down this journey with you all for the rest of the 21/22 school year!!
