Books are checked out for a two-week period.
Kindergarten -1st grade - 1 book
2nd and 3rd grade - 2 books
4th and 5th grade - 3 books
The Library Media Center contains over 14,000 items. We have browser bins full of picture books and shelves full of fiction chapter books and non-fiction books,
Late - Lost - Damaged Books
We never charge a late fee for overdue books or materials. If the materials are needed for a longer time period, just stop by the library to renew. If you do have late books, no other materials can be checked out until overdue materials are returned. Overdue notices are sent home monthly. If books become lost or damaged, students will be asked to pay the replacement costs for the items.
Library etiquette and book care are taught and reviewed at the beginning of each school year. Although we do not charge fines for overdue items, students may not check out new items if they have overdue materials on their accounts. However, if a book is lost or damaged, students will be required to pay the replacement cost before checking out new items from the library. Please see Mrs. Gomez to resolve these fines.
