CHE November Newsletter
Dear Parents as Partners,
I am so grateful to be a part of a great community of parents, staff and students. I am grateful for our parent community; for preparing the conference dinner for our staff. I am also appreciative of our strong turnout for Watch DOGS (Dads Of Great Students) Involving father-figures is a great part of improving education. Remember, “To a girl, a father is her first love. To a boy, a father is his first hero.” Thank you to those who are already volunteering. If you are ever interested in coming in to be a Watch DOGS volunteer, please call Mr. Mariano at 720-972-5328.
Our trunk or treat was a success. We had over 300 students and families attend and enjoy the evening. We appreciate all the family support! Thank you to those who decorated their cars, to those who donated candy, and the parent Committee for organizing the event.
Our students sold over $14,000 for our fall fundraiser and we met our goal. The orders will be coming out next week. Thank you to our parents and community members for supporting our school. The money raised will be used for classroom needs and educational materials.
Our student attendance rate has been improving this year. Only during a documented illness, medical appointment, or family emergency, student absences will be excused. Continue to make sure students are on time and ready to learn every day. If you have any questions regarding attendance, please contact the main office.
