Denver Art Museum: Art Lives Here!
Art Lives Here is a collaborative program between the Denver Art Museum and local schools and community centers. An exhibition of unique museum objects lives in the school/community center for about a month. Kids, families, and educators can use the installation to bring programming to life and reinforce organizational values, spark intercultural dialogue and empathy, and build community through shared experience. Coronado will be hosting 4 unique pieces from the Native American arts collection. They will be installed on October 4th and be on display until November 1st. During this time students will have the opportunity to learn about and interact with these objects with guest presenters from the art museum. Families are also invited to interact during the night of conferences by coming and making art in the art room from 5-8 pm.
