How to inspire artmaking
Making art does not always have to take place in the art room, art can happen anywhere. A stack of blank paper or a blank notebook and a box of crayons can truly inspire magic for many of your children. A notebook and a pencil or a box of crayons can travel easily, does not create a mess to clean up, is easy to start and stop, and can easily take place anywhere. While students are away from the art room over the summer I hope you continue to encourage them to grow as artists. Drawing and creativity are both learned skills and the more practice students get the better they will become. Their skills will get better and they will gain confidence as they practice.
To help both you and your students practice, I have attached her a list of 100 ideas for both you and your students to draw.
