New Student Enrollment Process
NEW STUDENT ENROLLMENT PROCESS
We are enrolling new students during the COVID-19 closure.
Please read below for instructions on our new virtual enrollment process.
If you have a child whom you need to enroll for the upcoming school year, follow the steps below to enroll via email. Kindergartners must be 5 years old on or before October 1, 2020 - District Policy 5230.
Returning students will be checked in online – more details to come.
Check your home address for your school boundary.
Download and complete the enrollment packet – one per every new students.
Once the enrollment packet is completed, review and save it.
Send an email it to the Admissions Office <-- go to the link and follow the steps.
Attach the following:
Copy of child’s birth certificate (take a photo and attach it to the email)
Copy of immunization record (take a photo and attach it to the email)
IF APPLICABLE: IEP and 504 information
Copy of parent’s/guardian’s photo ID (take a photo and attach it to the email)
Copy of ONE proof of residential address (take a photo and attach it to the email) - Current utility bill (i.e. Xcel Energy, water, cable, trash), lease agreement or mortgage statement; parent’s/guardian’s name and address must be clearly marked and match mailing address on the enrollment packet. Disconnect notices are not acceptable forms of proof of residence.
NOTE: If you are currently living with family or friends and do not have proof of address, please request a Declaration of Residence form before completing the enrollment packet.
Once we've received and reviewed the enrollment packet and documentation, we will contact you with any additional questions or concerns.
We highly recommend completing this process during summer and two weeks before the first day of school (August 19, 2020).
